JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-04-2018 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only reason for not granting the benefits of ACP to the petitioner is that his service book has not been found to have been verified by the appropriate authority.
I find that the job of verifying and authenticating the service book of the petitioner is that of the concerned authority and the petitioner has got nothing to do with the same. In such view of the matter, the concerned authority shall verify the service book of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today and thereafter consider the case of the petitioner for grant of ACP within a period of four weeks
Patna High Court CWJC No.6923 of 2017 (2) dt.10-04-2018 2/2 thereafter and pass a reasoned and speaking order and in case the concerned authority finds favour with the petitioner, the consequential benefits shall be given to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of passing of the final order. The writ petition is disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
