The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 190 of 2018 for the offences punishable under 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 45 liters of illicit liquor from the bolero vehicle and the petitioner was apprehended while he was sitting in the said vehicle. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the bolero vehicle in question does not belong to the petitioner and the petitioner was merely a chance passenger. It is further submitted that the

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II cum Special Judge , Nawada in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 190 of 2018, C.I.S. No. 1054 of 2018.
