The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Dhanarua P.S. Case No.126 of 2020 registered for offences under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act. The petitioner was a PDS dealer. It has been alleged that 92.75 quintals of rice and 51.05 quintals of wheat in the shop of the petitioner were found in excess. PDS licence of the petitioner has been concelled.

Considered the submissions of the parties and considering the fact that PDS licence of the petitioner has been suspended and there is no chance of his absconding, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

No.10688 of 2021(2) dt.02-03-2022 2/2 Accordingly, let petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Masaurhi, Patna in connection with Dhanarua P.S. Case No.126 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
