Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaitn Case No.340 of 2018, Tr. No.3621 of 2019 , registered for offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the complaint case, the process has been issued against the petitioner, who happens to be husband of the complainant with respect to demand of dowry and torture. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the complainant was married from before with another person and the petitioner is also a married person and with a
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49355 of 2019(3) dt.25-10-2019 2/2 false allegation this case has been lodged. He has denied the factum of the marriage.
Heard learned A.P.P. and the learned counsel for the informant, who has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that she is still ready to reside with the petitioner. . Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, Siwan in connection with Complaint Case No340 of 2018, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
