1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for direction directing the

Patna High Court CWJC No.18904 of 2021(2) dt.06-03-2024 2/3 respondents to pay salary/scale to the petitioner with penal interest in accordance with the Government Notification No. 3011 dated 20th March, 2012 issued by the Department of Finance and as per the order of His Excellency the Governor of Bihar, Patna issued under the seal and signature of the Joint Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of Bihar, Patna with respect to Steno-cum- Typist from the date 1.1.2006, which was made applicable in the district establishment dated 19.1.2006 as well as the order issued from the Office of the Collector, Munger through its order vide Memo No. 170 dated 26.2.2007 whereby and whereunder benefits of the first and second A.C.P. were ordered to be given in the petitioners' cadre Steno-cumTypist since 9.10.2006.

For issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for direction directing the respondents to pay difference of salary as well as arrears of pension to the petitioners in accordance with the aforesaid notification dated 20.3.2012 with effect from 9.1.2006 and any other consequential benefit be paid to the petitioners in accordance with law."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners

Patna High Court CWJC No.18904 of 2021(2) dt.06-03-2024 3/3 seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the District Magistrate, Munger for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioners, before the District Magistrate, Munger, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
