Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Recovery of huge quantity of country made liquor is alleged from the house of co-accused-Sanjiv Singh. Petitioner was fleeing from there as claimed by the local Chaukidar. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the fact that there is no direct evidence against the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to

No.50586 of 2019(2) dt.22-08-2019 2/2 the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Excise Case No.593 of 2019 arising out of Madhepura (Ghailarh O.P.) Police Station Case No.394 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
