This is the second attempt of the appellant to approach before this Court for bail. Earlier, vide detailed order dated 21.04.2022 passed in Cr. Appeal (S.J.) No. 4338 of 2021, the prayer for bail of the Appellant was rejected with a direction to the learned Court below to expedite the trial. Vide order dated 12.10.2022, a report was called for from the learned Court below regarding the stage of the trial and the time likely to be taken in conclusion of the trial. In compliance thereof, a report dated 29.10.2022 has been sent by the learned 1st A.D.J.-cum-Special Judge SC/ST, Bettiah. In his
Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.3212 of 2022(4) dt.04-01-2023 2/2 report, the learned Judge has, inter alia, stated that the trial may be concluded within one year.
Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the appellant on bail. The prayer for bail is hereby once again rejected.
