2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 409, 420, 467, 468/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Allegation against the petitioner and other accused persons is that they fraudulently deleted the names of the beneficiaries from the list provided by the Monitoring Committee for flood victims.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the list in question was prepared by the Flood Monitoring Committee and petitioner is simply a member of that committee. He next submits that beneficiaries have received the allotted amount in their respective bank accounts and there is no allegation against the petitioner that he himself fraudulently got

Considering the fact that the beneficiaries have already received the amount, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bailbond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Biraul, Darbhanga in connection with Jamalpur (Badgaon O.P.) P. S. Case No. 04 of 2023, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
