The petitioner seeks bail in Punpun P.S. Case No. 179 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 307, 323 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, while the informant was returning home, all the FIR named accused persons including petitioner variously armed assaulted the informant. Petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant on his head. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that though there is allegation of assault against all the accused persons including petitioner, but only one injury was found by the doctor on the person of informant which is simple in nature. Moreover, there is case and counter case. Petitioner is in custody since 13.08.2021.

Case No. 179 of 2021.
