1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2022.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has antecedent of one case and is in custody since 17.05.2026 and allegation is of recovery of 810 litres of liquor from a Scorpio vehicle.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not the owner of the seized vehicle but then was apprehended from the place of occurrence since he was coming back home taking the route where checking was going on.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court where the case is pending in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 151 of 2026.
