The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, it is stated by the informant that her son who had gone to his in-laws place was murdered and his body thrown in the river. She states that she is convinced that the accused persons including the petitioner herein who happens to be her daughter-in-law and wife of the deceased is involved in the killing.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner who happens to be the widow of the deceased has been falsely implicated in the case for oblique reasons. No

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63728 of 2021(3) dt.18-02-2022 2/2 material has transpired in course of investigation to connect the petitioner with the alleged crime. There are no eye witness to the occurrence. She is in custody since 8.1.2021 and has no criminal antecedent.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations in the F.I.R., the material that has transpired in course of investigation together with the petitioner who happens to be the widow of the deceased having remained in custody for over 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Khusrupur P.S. Case no.15 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Patna City, District Patna.
