2. This application is filed for modification of order dated 14.03.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 17020 of 2024.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 14.03.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 17020 of 2024, by which the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail with a direction to surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63492 of 2024(2) dt.29-08-2024 2/2 each to the satisfaction of the learned court concerned, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Vaishali (Belsar O.P.) P.S. Case No. 552 of 2023, subject to conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, but due to unavoidable circumstances, the petitioner could not surrender and execute the bail bonds before the Court below within the stipulated time.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to extend the time for furnishing the bail bonds of the petitioner.

5. In view of the above, let the time to surrender of the petitioner, as ordered on 14.03.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 17020 of 2024 be further extended by four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

5. Accordingly, the modification application is allowed and the order dated 14.03.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 17020 of 2024 is modified to the above extent. (Chandra Prakash Singh, J) Shivam/- U T
