Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 133 of 2016 registered under Sections498A, 323, 504,/34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The allegation against the petitioner, who is husband of the informant, is of torture and cruelty due to nonfulfillment of the demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegations are general in nature. It is further submitted that informant is not ready to live with the petitioner. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49954 of 2016 (2) dt.19-12-2016 against the petitioner, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner. His prayer for grant of anticipatory bail is, therefore, rejected.
