2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Saur Bazar P.S. Case No. 260 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 506, 354, 379 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have assaulted the victim with the butt of a rifle.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the victim Shailendra Paswan has sustained simple injury and the petitioner is in jail since 08.04.2024.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge POCSO, Saharsa in connection with Saur Bazar P.S. Case No. 260 of 2024.
