The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 05C of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter has been compromised between the parties. In view of the above, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail.
Accordingly, let the petitioner above named be
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9738 of 2021(3) dt.24-01-2022 2/2 released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of ten weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Bagaha, West Champaran, in connection with Complaint Case No. 05C of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. It is directed that before accepting the bail bonds of the petitioner, the learned Court below shall verify as to whether both the parties have entered into a compromise or not and only after the verification, the bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted. In case, the submission of the petitioner is found to be false, the petitioner shall be taken into custody by the Court below.
