1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That by the present application, the petitioner invoking extra ordinary jurisdiction of this Hon'ble Court, prays for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Bihar Police (Home Guard) constable against Advertisement No. 2 of 2011, placing his name in successful candidate list of Aliganj Block and petitioner name mentioned in Sl. No. 8 of 17 successful candidates and authority scrutinize the name of the petitioner on

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought is granted.
3. The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
