This application for grant of anticipatory bail arises out of Ghoshi P.S. Case No. 218 of 2013, G.R. No. 2047 of 2013, disclosing offence under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code. Because of seriousness of the offence and the fact that petitioner's name has surfaced in course of investigation on the basis of statement of one of the co-accused before the Police, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this application for anticipatory bail is, hereby, rejected.
The petitioner is directed to surrender before the court below within two weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so
