The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Katra P. S. Case No. 167 of 2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 325, 307, 379, 354(B), 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is said to have assaulted the nephew of the informant as a result of which he has received simple injuries. There is a counter version of the occurrence also lodged by the petitioner in which he has alleged that aforesaid nephew of the informant of the subject F.I.R. had

There is a dispute between the parties.

Considering the afore-mentioned submissions on behalf of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M. - 14th, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Katra P. S. Case No. 167 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

The application stands allowed.
