2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barhiya P.S. Case No. 137/2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 285/379/427/34/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 15(2), 15(4) of the Petroleum and Mines Act, Section 3⁄4 of the Explosive Substance Act and Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, thieves extracted oil from the Paradip-Haldiya-Barauni petroleum pipe line.

4. The petitioner is not involved in the main crime. He is said to have provided vehicle to the main accused Jitendra Kumar. The petitioner is in jail since 04.06.2024 and he has clean antecedent and he is having kidney ailment.

5. Considering the period of custody, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai/concerned court in connection with Barhiya P.S. Case No. 137/2024.

6. The petitioner is directed to mark his attendance in Gadhpura police station on 1st Sunday of every month. Failure to do so, will result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.

7. The court below is directed to verify the antecedent of the petitioner at the time of furnishing bail bonds. If the petitioner is found involved in any case, his bail bonds shall not be accepted.
