The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 307 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have fired on the informant hitting him in his arm. The petitioner and one another were caught at the place of occurrence.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the case. Investigation in the case has concluded. He is in custody since 17.4.2021.

Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63739 of 2021(3) dt.16-05-2022 2/2 taking into consideration the allegation against the petitioner of having fired on and hitting the informant in his arm and the petitioner being caught at the place of occurrence, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application rejected.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after six months.
