2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with S.Tr. No. 49/2024 arising out of Turkauliya P.S. Case No. 626 of 2023 dated 31.05.2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384 and 386 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the informant alleged that the co-accused, Imamuddin @ Mamu @ Amamuddin used to call and demanded money from him and threatened of dire consequences if he would not fulfill the demand.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54376 of 2025(3) dt.10-09-2025 2/3 that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case due to previous election dispute. The petitioner is the brother of the co-accused Imamuddin @ Mamu @ Amamuddin and the informant is the maternal uncle of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the demand of ransom has not been executed. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has nine criminal antecedents in which he is acquitted in three criminal cases and on bail in other three criminal cases as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 31.07.2023. The co-accused person has already been granted regular bail by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 02.11.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 69321 of 2023.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with S.Tr. No. 49/2024 arising out of Turkauliya P.S. Case No. 626 of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54376 of 2025(3) dt.10-09-2025 3/3 2023, with a condition:- (i) The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned Court below on each and every date, failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable cause, the bail bonds of the petitioner are liable to be cancelled.
