JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 20-08-2019 The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent- District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to dispose of the pending application of the petitioner for grant of arms licence which was filed in the year 2013.
Having regard to the limited submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur is directed to dispose of the pending application of the petitioner, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty, if need be, to file a fresh application in accordance with the new rules for the purposes of grant of arms licence.
