The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bikram P.S. Case No.182 of 2015 registered under Sections 467, 468, 471, 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that for the procurement of paddy at Vikram-cum-Patut Purchase Centre for the financial year 2014-15, Chandresh Rajak, the Incharge Circle Officer, was appointed as Incharge of Purchase Centre whereas Ranjeet Kumar was appointed as Executive Assistant and Patut, the owner of Rice Mill, was appointed as representative of the S.K. Rice Mill. While the report was about to purchase of 1,13,956.60 quintal paddy but

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47104 of 2016 (3) dt.22-12-2016 2/2 voucher was received for supply of the total 1,21,519.30 quintal paddy. As such, the aforesaid persons and the petitioner, being the broker, were involved in the aforesaid mischief. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that on going through the F.I.R., it would appear that the petitioner was not given any responsibility. The name of the petitioner has come in the last paragraph of the F.I.R. as a broker without assigning any role.

Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender by him within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Danapur, Patna, in connection with Bikram P.S. Case No.182 of 2015, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) P.S./- U T
