JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-01-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the informant. The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Karakat P.S.Case No. 198 of 2017 registered under Sections 304-B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the gravity of offence in which daughter-in-law of the petitioners is alleged to have been killed in her matrimonial home within two years of her marriage for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry, I am not inclined to grant them pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for pre-arrest bail is rejected.

In case the petitioners surrender and seek bail, the same

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1288 of 2018 (2) dt.19-01-2018 2/2 shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
