The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Hajipur Sadar P. S. Case No. 292 of 2020, dated 14.05.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10164 of 2021(2) dt.21-02-2022 2/3 The informant/victim has been assaulted and injured by two of the accused persons, namely, Rupesh and Nitesh. The petitioner is said to have assaulted the wife of the informant but she has not received any injury. The learned advocate for the petitioner has submitted that there is a counter version of the occurrence also and merely because of the association of the petitioner with some of the accused persons of this case, he too has been named. The informant and the petitioner are agnates and there was some dispute between the family of Nanhak Sah and Rajesh Kumar in which both sides have received injuries.

Considering the afore-mentioned submissions and taking into account the clean antecedents of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial
