It is a peculiar case, in which prosecution report was submitted in the year 2012 for the offence alleged under Section 47(a) of the Bihar Excise Act and the petitioner has approached this Court in the year 2016 with a prayer to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Heard Sri Jitendra Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Pradeep Narain Kumar, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor.

In view of the fact that the prosecution report was submitted in the year 2012, there is no reason to extend the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38166 of 2016 (2) dt.14-09-2016 2/2 privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The petition stands dismissed.
