JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA) 30-03-2022 The petitioners are aggrieved by the decision taken on 10th July, 2021 by the Fresh Selection Committee and final publication of the second merit list published by the respondents on 24.07.2021 in which previous recommended/selected candidates have been ignored. According to the petitioners, this action is mala fide and arbitrary.
Learned State Counsel, at the outset, submits that a revision is maintainable against that order before the Divisional Commissioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioners is ready to avail this remedy.
In case the petitioners invoke this remedy before the concerned Divisional Commissioner within two weeks from today, the Court expects that a decision will be taken at the earliest, in any case not later than six weeks. The petition stands disposed off in the aforementioned terms.
