1. The prayer of the petitioner is for re-naming the Utkramit Middle School, Babujeevan as Jokhan Mahto Utkramit Middle School, Babujeevan.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grandfather of the petitioner had gifted the land, in the year 1985, for running the school, vide gift deed dated 16.05.1985. There is a settled principle that if the person gifts his land/building for the purpose of school then the name of the said school would be named after the donor. The petitioner has filed

3. In view of the nature of dispute, the said application is disposed with a direction to District Magistrate, Madhubani, to dispose the representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
