This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 84 of 2013, disclosing offences under Sections 489(A), 489(B) and 489(C) of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has attempted to submit that petitioner has been named only on the basis of information given by a co-villager to the effect that he is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41134 of 2016 (2) dt.28-09-2016 2/2 deep into a conspiracy of transit with fake currency notes. This is a serious offence, which has been alleged against the petitioner, and this court or any other Court can not take a lenient view in such matters.

Accordingly, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner, above named, the privilege of anticipatory bail. This application is, accordingly, rejected.

The petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered by the learned court below on its own merit, without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail.
