This application has been filed for modification of the order, dated 06.03.2020, passed in Criminal Misc. No. 66083 of 2019, whereby the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail and was directed to surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of the order. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not surrender before the learned Court below within the stipulated time granted by this Court. He further submits that due to COVID-19 pandemic and nationwide

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63850 of 2021(2) dt.17-11-2021 2/2 lockdown, the petitioner could not surrender before the learned Court below and as such, the time granted by this Court to surrender before the Court below may be extended by further four weeks.

Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the learned Court below for furnishing bail bond by order, dated 06.03.2020, passed in Criminal Misc. No. 66083 of 2019, is hereby extended by four weeks from today, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall comply with the direction of this Court made in the order, dated 06.03.2020, passed in Criminal Misc. No. 66083 of 2019.

This application is allowed with the modification as above.
