2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Shaharghat P.S. Case No. 50 of 2024, lodged under Section 392 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution case, Rs. 40,000/- and one mobile phone was looted from the informant by unknown criminals. The criminals also looted the driver of one Haiva vehicle and they went away with the Tipper vehicle.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come in this case on self-inculpatory statement of one Santosh Kumar and the looted mobile phone has been recovered from the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner is in custody since 28.05.2024 having one criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that sufficient material has come during investigation to connect the petitioner with the alleged crime.

6. Considering the allegation and antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and, therefore, the present bail application is hereby rejected. (Sandeep Kumar, J) sadique/- U T
