1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari to quash the part of the order dated 27/06/2023 passed in Anganwari Appeal Case No. 44/2019 by the District Magistrate, East Champaran, whereby and where under the District Magistrate has upheld the cancellation of selection/appointment of the petitioner of the post of Anganwarik Sewika on the nonest and absurd ground and a direction has been issued to the District Programme Officer (I.C.D.S) East

Patna High Court CWJC No.12590 of 2023(2) dt.22-01-2024 2/2 Champaran to initiate the process of selection afresh on the post of Anganwari Sewika of Ward No. 13 of Rajpur Gran Panchayat, upon which the petitioner was selected and appointed by the competent authority after following due process of law. And further for issuance of a consequential writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to allow the petitioner to work as Anganwari Sewika of Ward No. 13, Rahpur Gram Panchayat upon which she has been selected and appointed by the Aam Sabha of the Gram Panchayat under due procedure and as such she is legally entitled for the same."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
