2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:

"(i) For quashing the order contained in Memo No. 26 dated 24.01.2017 issued by the respondent no. 3 whereby and whereunder the license of the petitioner's P.D.S. Shop has been cancelled.

(ii) For giving a direction to the respondent no. 2 to dispose of the appeal petition filed by the petitioner against the order of cancellation of license dated 24.01.2017 which has been filed on 16.02.2017.

(iii) Any other relief/reliefs which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper".

3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.11451 of 2017 dt.14-12-2017 2/2 does not press the prayer no. (i) and confines the relief to seek a direction of early disposal of the appeal as prayed for in prayer no. (ii). Accordingly, prayer no. (i) is rejected without however entering into the merits thereof.

4. It is stated that statutory appeal no. 07/2017 has been filed on 16.02.2017 against the impugned order which is said to be pending before the appellate authority.

5. In the above view of the matter, the preset writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the appellate authority would consider and dispose of the petitioner's aforesaid Appeal No. 07 of 2017, if still pending, as expeditiously as possible.
