2. The petitioner in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition has sought inter alia following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:- "(i) For issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/ direction/ order for commanding the respondent concerned to produce the

Patna High Court CWJC No.13030 of 2024(2) dt.05-09-2024 2/2 recommendation of three men committee constituted by the District Magistrate, Arwal to re-examine the documents concerned with the petitioner's educational qualification and further to appoint the petitioner as Home Guard under the district Arwal against Advertisement No.02/2011.

(ii) For issuance of any other appropriate writ, order or direction which your Lordships may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, considering the present writ petition to be pre-mature, informs that the petitioner has already approached the competent authority/Information Officer for giving requisite information, however, he has not received any information in respect of his district for being appointed on the post of Home Guard.

4. In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, I find that the petitioner has right to seek the desired information under the Right to Information Act from the Information Officer.

5. With the above observation/direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
