JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-02-2018 It is submitted by the learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner be allowed to stay in the government quarter only for two months from today and immediately upon completion of two months from today, he would hand over the vacant possession of the Government quarter. It is directed that the petitioner shall hand over the vacant possession of the said Government quarter, which he is occupying on or before 5th April, 2018. It is further directed that the petitioner would be liable to pay rent as fixed by the State authorities for the period from the date of his retirement till the

The aforesaid order has been passed purely on humanitarian ground since according to the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is suffering from cancer and till date he has not received his retiral benefits for which a separate writ petition is pending before this Court. In view of the aforesaid directions being issued by this Court, the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner does not any longer wishes to press the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn in terms of the aforesaid order.
