The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a)/36/38(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From the outer house of Shibji Singh huge quantity of liquor was recovered. Allegation is that the petitioner was also involved in the business of liquor along with Shibji Singh. The petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 25.06.2019. Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49654 of 2019(2) dt.09-08-2019 2/2 Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Sahebganj P.S. Case No.54 of 2019, with following conditions: (a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.
