JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 09-05-2023 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case is to direct the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to dispose off his pending application, filed on 21.08.2021, for grant of arms license.

The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid application of the petitioner is still pending, the same shall be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Court.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with a direction to the District Arms Magistrate/District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to dispose off the aforesaid application

Patna High Court CWJC No.14158 of 2022(2) dt.09-05-2023 2/2 of the petitioner, filed for grant of arms license, in case the same has been filed and is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
