Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Shastrinagar P.S. Case No. 357 of 2016 registered under Sections- 147, 148, 149, 341, 342, 323, 385 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that except the allegation that petitioner accompanied the victim there is nothing against this petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits material has come during investigation suggesting involvement of this petitioner in the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9414 of 2017 (6) dt.31-07-2017 alleged occurrence.
Considering the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, I do not feel inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for anticipatory bail is, therefore, rejected. (Arvind Srivastava, J) Manish/- U T
