2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Nawada (Town) P.S. Case No. 680 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 33, 34 and 36 of the Excise Act.

3. As per prosecution case, the petitioner is supplier of spurious liquor after consuming which Bhushan Rajbanshi has died. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that there is no recovery from the possession of the petitioner but the name of the petitioner has transpired during investigation.

4. Considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54386 of 2023(2) dt.25-08-2023 2/2 petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the prayer of the bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
