The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Parbatta PS case no. 334 of 2017 (G.R. No. 2872 of 2017) registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 447, 307, 504, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is said to have assaulted the informant resulting in injury to the informant.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner herein and he is aged about 70 years. The petitioner is having a clean antecedent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7468 of 2018 (4) dt.23-02-2018 2/2 in the event of arrest or surrender before the concerned court within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the present order, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M. 1st, Khagaria in connection with Parbatta PS case no. 334 of 2017 (G.R. No. 2872 of 2017), subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of Code of Criminal Procedure.
