1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the instant writ application is being filed on behalf of the petitioner above named prayer appropriate therein for issuance of writ/writs, direction/directions in the order/orders, nature of Mandamus commanding upon the respondents authorities:- (i) For granting of promotion as per gradation and seniority on the post of Sheristedar in Civil Court, Buxar, when the petitioner was in service on the post of Clerk and promotion of the petitioner on the post of Sheristedar had not been granted by the respondents authority because one non gradation employee namely Pradeep Kumar Srivastava had

Patna High Court CWJC No.18940 of 2021(2) dt.06-03-2024 2/2 been promoted on the post of Sheristedar while Pradeep Kumar Srivastava was initially appointed on the post of Stenographer and no any order had been issued to change gradation to Stenographer to Clerk till date by the respondents authority. (ii) For granting higher scale to the petitioner while junior to the petitioner namely Rameshwar Nath Pandey had been granted and paid higher scale than the petitioner, while petitioner was liable to pay of Grade Pay PB3-5400 Level-11 in place PB25400 Level-9. (iii) For granting either higher pay scale or equal to junior pay scale to the petitioner while presently the petitioner has been paid pay grade 4600 Level-7 and junior to the petitioner namely Rameshwar Nath Pandey has been paid pay grade 4800 Level-8."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
