JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-08-2019 In view of the amendments made in the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, which came into effect from January 26, 2016, I am not inclined to entertain the present application challenging the order dated 05.05.2017 passed by the learned Special Judge, SC/ST, Patna in Special Case No.103 of 2011 arising out of Bikram P.S. Case No.333 of 2006. The application is dismissed as not maintainable.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to challenge the order impugned by way of filing an appeal in accordance with the provisions prescribed under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1212 of 2019(2) dt.27-08-2019 2/2 of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

In case, the petitioner files a photostat copy of the order passed by the learned Special Judge, SC/ST Act, Patna, registry shall return the certified copy of the order to the learned counsel for the petitioner after retaining the photostat copy on the record.
