2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 85, 76, 89, 109(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Prosecution case , in brief, is that informant alleged that she was married to this petitioner on 07.12.2023 and at the time of marriage , Rs. 15 lakh cash , jewelry furntiture and other house hold utensils were given as gift to this petitioner. After marriage , she went to her matrimonial house and after some time of marriage , this petitioner along with other accused persons named in the F.I.R., demanded additional dowry from the informant and due to non-fulfillment of same , they committed cruelty with the informant and also administered poison to her due to which her pregnancy got aborted.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case because he happens to be husband of informant. Petitioner neither tortured nor demanded any dowry from informant. Petitioner claims clean antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 09.06.2025 . Charge-sheet has already been submitted.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as informant vehemently opposed the bail application.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54011 of 2025(2) dt.19-09-2025 3/3 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Town ( Motihari ) P.S. Case No. 660 of 2024 .
