The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is notwithstanding the petitioner fulfils the eligibility criteria for consideration and grant of promotion as Headmaster. The respondent have prepared the list for grant of promotion but the respondents have not included the name of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has already approached the District Education Officer and District Programme Officer (Establishment), Khagaria for redressal of his grievance i.e. for inclusion of the name of the petitioner in the list for consideration and grant of promotion as Headmaster and the same is pending before the respondent for
Patna High Court CWJC No.15520 of 2017(2) dt.18-05-2018 2/2 the last nearly one year.
Considering the fact that petitioner has represented the District Education Officer and District Programme Officer(Establishment), Khagaria vide Annexure-7 dated 11.4.2017, the respondents District Education Officer and District Programme Officer (Establishment), Khagaria is hereby directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner by reasoned speaking order, in the event it is found that the petitioner fulfils the condition for inclusion of her name in the select list for grant of promotion as Headmaster, the respondents may rectify the mistake and include the name of the petitioner for consideration of her case for promotion considering the eligibility and seniority of the petitioner.
The entire exercise in this regard must be completed by the District Education Officer and District Programme officer (Establishment) within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt/production of this order.
