The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 386, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 27 of the Arms Act and 3(2)(v) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
It is alleged that the petitioner demanded extortion of rupees five hundred from the informant who was an employee of the parking of contractor. On refusal of payment on extortion demand the petitioner resorted to fire twice, though, no injury was caused to the informant.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48085 of 2015 (2) dt.04-11-2015 2/2 petitioner that actually no injury was caused to the informant. Considering the nature of accusation, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Bhabhua P.S. Case No. 309 of 2015 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhabhua. With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
