JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 03-04-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; State and Veer Kunwar Singh University (hereinafter referred to as the 'University').

2. Counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the University on 14.03.2018. Learned counsel for the University submitted that whatever dues remain to be paid to the petitioner shall be paid within three weeks from today. However, it was pointed out that the said payment shall only be from October, 1992 till the retirement of the petitioner in February, 2001, for the reason that from April, 1982 to September, 1992, the petitioner had worked under the erstwhile Magadh University which is not before this Court

3. In view of the assurance given before the Court by learned counsel for the University to make payment of all admitted dues, in accordance with law, within three weeks, the writ petition stands disposed off with the observation that the University shall ensure that such payment is made within three weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order before the respondents no. 5 and

6. The University shall also pass a detailed order with regard to the payments made within the same period.

4. However, with regard to any claim which may remain unpaid, the petitioner shall be at liberty to move before the appropriate forum, in accordance with law, against the entity/institution liable to make such payment. (Ahsanuddin Amanullah, J.) P. Kumar AFR/NAFR U
