The petitioner is a social as well as political activist. A writ petition was filed by him for providing him personal security officer/security guard as he apprehended threat to his life. A Bench of this Court by order dated 06.04.2012 (Annexure-3), disposed of the said application directing the District Security Committee to consider the case of the petitioner and take appropriate decision. In the light of the said order of this Court, the matter relating to the petitioner along with others was placed before and considered by the District Security Committee. At item no.25, the case of the petitioner has been dealt with wherein it is found that, considering the threat perception faced by the petitioner, he has already been provided a bodyguard. However, as there was no perceptible threat to the life of the petitioner the bodyguard so deployed with the petitioner was recommended to

Patna High Court CWJC No.5176 of 2014 dt.05-10-2016 2/2 be withdrawn/returned.

Mr. Alam states that one bodyguard has, however, been provided to him on 22nd June, 2015. It is stated that the petitioner will approach the respondent for deployment of one more personnel either on or without payment. Without opining any opinion on his such prayer, the writ application is dispose of granting him the liberty.
