The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per allegation, this petitioner assaulted the informant on her head.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that there is land dispute between the parties and the police after investigation has not submitted charge sheet against the petitioner but the court below took cognizance against the petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

S. Case no. 72 of 2018 subject to condition as laid down under section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
