The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Dumariaghat P.S. Case No. 110 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 379 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case in brief is that petitioners are alleged to have assaulted the informant with Daab and lathi, as a result of which he sustained four injuries.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioners that due to land dispute petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case due to old enmity. The dispute between the parties has been amicably settled. Petitioners have got clean antecedents.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63882 of 2021(3) dt.05-07-2022 2/2 Counsel for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioners have caused as many as four injuries on the person of informant, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner abovenamed on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) vinita/- U T
