The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Raushanganj (Bankey Bajar) P.S. Case No. 143 of 2017 registered under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(c), 25 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Regard being had to the recovery of huge quantity of Doda (a narcotic derived from the opium poppy) from the bus of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application is rejected.
